Career Action Plan

It is my ambition to work within the creative media industry particularly in the field of Public Relations, culture and communications. Recently i have applied to four different Universities. The courses i have applied for include
• Buckinghamshire New University- Football Business and the Media
• The Manchester Metropolitan University- Advertising and Television
• Edge Hill University – Public Relations and The Media
• Liverpool John Moores University- Media Culture and Communications.
I am hoping to hear back from all of the universities I have applied for and visit each campus so i am able to make my decision. In order to fulfil my ambition it is important that I further my skills and develop new ones that will enable me to make my pathway.
Although i have started to develop some personal skills I would further like to develop:

Throughout my studies I have also gained a lot of technical and computer skills that will help me achieve me my ambitions as I am able to demonstrate these skills in a professional work environment.

Adobe After Effects

Following a step by step guideline, I have created a practice video using Adobe After Effects.  I have made this video ‘The Devil Rides Out’ to help me when creating my own film title sequence. This practice trail has helped me gain skills and knowledge about how to use Adobe After Effects and what tools are best to use to create desired effects and basic skills that will help me set up my project.
